Hello!

I’m Aurélie, a French illustrator living in London. I work across editorial and stationery illustration, surface pattern design, licensing, and branding. 

All my illustrations are drawn and painted by hand, using ink, watercolour and gouache as I prefer the traditional and artisanal practice of painting to the digital method. In my paintings I try to capture the joy and poetry of everyday life in a warm and whimsical style. I’m continuously inspired by my love for architecture, the arts as well as the natural world. I see my practice as a way of translating my observations in light-hearted and delicate drawings.

I have designed artwork for HRH the Princess of Wales & the Kensington Palace Foundation, stationery products, children’s clothing (Timo & Violet),  luxury hotel groups such as The Four Seasons, The Landmark Hotel, The Westin and collaborated with various brands and institutions in the UK, France and USA. I’ve been featured in The New York Times, The Financial Times and People Magazine.
